Haruna Abdulllahi otherwise known as Dj AB is s rapper, singer also a lyricist straight outta North based in Kaduna state. Dj AB have been keeping it real and pushing harder since after the widespread of their song with Jigsaw & Teeswagg labelled “Wabab” which was released 2013. One of the songs that leads to his breakthrough was “Babarsa” and since after the dropping of the it DJ AB starts to inspire a lot of people out there with his songs and also some people started looking for his old songs since before he drops Babarsa. Dj AB has achieved a lot in the industry because for the past 6 years after he became a well known act. Dj AB has put a lot and also double his effort in pushing himself and Arewa too as around 30th January 2019 DJ AB dropped a mind-blowing joint featuring iconic rapper also a singer, Yung6ix “Yi Rawa”. After a short while on July, 9th, 2019 DJ AB’s Instagram account got verified as he posted with the caption “Thank u IG”. Blessings continue to fall upon him since then as many proposal from different angle including collaborations and partnership from different companies. His fanbase continue to grow bigger every single day to the extent many audience outside Nigeria will sent their love and wishes to Dj AB, so also DJ AB’s social media handles most especially Instagram started growing with active followers followed by Twitter account. It was the same year after DJ AB dropped his collaboration with Yung6ix he also decides to drop “KUMATU” which was sponsored by Mr Eazi of Empawa Africa. The song went viral far beyond “Yi Rawa” featuring Yung6ix thou there are other songs that also contributed to DJ AB’s recognition like Totally & Babban Yaya as the became the street anthem without a doubt. “KUMATU” video is having 254,000 views on YouTube which this means a lot to any hard working Artiste in North, moreover sequent to the release of KUMATU, another different afropop song was released by DJ Titled “Lukuti” which has 132k views in 3 weeks of release, so it’s clear to see that for sure it will surpass the number of views “KUMATU” has after it was released 2 years back in no time. it’s obvious DJ AB has gained and earned a respect also he has put Arewa on the map and it’s also clear to see how DJ AB is making moves dropping standard projects.
